Paul co-ordinated and delivered the nationally acclaimed regional 2012 business support programme from May 2007 ensuring that businesses benefited from the many opportunities in the supply chains. Innovation, partnerships, green technologies and the desire to be ‘Fit to Supply’ have driven the success of small businesses resulting in over £1.2 billion worth of contracts in the South East

Paul’s 30+ years of experience working in or with innovative and high growth businesses includes running his own successful business for 12 years, bidding for large private and public sector contracts in the UK & Internationally and for the last 11 years has used this experience working in a number of business support organisations to help SMEs grow and become more profitable.

Paul  has coordinated a series of specialist workshops targeting innovative high growth businesses to increase their success on raising funding to grow their businesses, as well as helping businesses through the Enterprise Europe Network Team to develop SME partnerships to exploit new technologies and trade in Europe.

Until recently Paul was Chair of the Best Practice for Business support for 2012 on behalf of BIS and he is currently the Vice Chairman of the Southern branch of the Institute of Export.
